Our Background
The idea for “The IoT Guide“ was born a few years ago. Having worked over 30 years in telecom, we noticed that, whilst data SIMs were becoming a commodity, navigating the IoT connectivity market remained complex. Companies around the globe use IoT to monitor their core business and equip products sold to end-consumers. IoT connectivity is often not a core competency for the firm implementing it.
We aim to bridge this gap and find the best connectivity solution for your needs. Combining our IoT expertise and partner network, we offer modern IoT connectivity, flexibility and competitive pricing. We started with customers that deployed as few as 10 POCs. At present, many of them, have a base of thousands of managed IoT devices.
We are more than a connectivity provider
Partner Ecosystem
The IoT Guide is closely related to ThingsData, a prominent IoT system integrator, and other Blue Ocean Development (BOD) companies. BOD’s IoT portfolio was created in 2013 and includes several enterprises, each specialising in their respective domains of expertise.
Our IoT ecosystem enables us to leverage shared resources, including a comprehensive suite of IoT software applications, and collective strengths, such as enhanced purchasing power. This synergy enables us to deliver comprehensive and reliable connectivity solutions to our clients.
Sustainability
We’re particularly passionate about sustainable use cases and design IoT solutions with the environment in mind. In general, the use of IoT technologies can contribute to the sustainability of a wide range of industries. By leveraging innovative IoT applications, we believe in fostering sustainability across diverse industries. Our focus lies in sustainable market segments, including energy efficiency, resource management, logistic efficiency, optimisation in agriculture, and waste management.
By concentrating our efforts on these segments, we aim to foster innovation and create tangible positive change.
